GOD'S WORD ON WITCHES

GOD’S WORD ON WITCHES
Witches and Satanists get together in our communities around the world to put hexes and spells on people like you and me. People in other nations around the world are way more aware of the devastation of witch doctors, Shamans, Satanists, and witches than we are in the US. Even though the Word of God has much to say about witches, we choose to ignore it or think that the idea of witches being real, is foolish. I guarantee you, it is not. This weekend witches got together in Brooklyn NY to cast spells and curses on President Trump and Judge Kavanaugh. You may not like these men, or you may despise them, but casting curses, spells, and hexes on them is a spiritual matter that is not to be tolerated.

The law of the Old Testament says: “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” (Exo. 22:18). In Old Testament times, they physically stoned witches to death. But that practice was denied by the coming of Christ Jesus. That’s not God’s will today. We have much greater power and authority now.

If you kill a person that embodies a demon, that physical person dies, but the demon goes free, looking for another person to inhabit. Instead, we have the power and authority in Christ, to stop the demon, and let the person go free.

God tells us: “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (1 Cor. 10:3-4). “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:12).

So, if we look at the Old Testament verse in light of what God gave us in Christ, we see a new picture for how we can deal with, cast out and stop activated witchcraft in our areas of influence. “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” Let’s break that down. What does it mean “to live”? What do you think of when you think of something or someone living? It has movement and influence, and that’s exactly the meaning of the Hebrew word used here. “Chayah” means: “to give life, to cause to grow, to sustain life, and to live prosperously.”

As a believer in Christ, we have the spiritual power to come against the spirit of witchcraft. God is bigger than any demon! He said we should not allow a witchcraft spirit to live. In the name of Jesus Christ, we say to the multiple spirits of witches, “Stop! You have been relieved of any life in your curses. Your hexes die before they even get out of your mouths. Your spells are withered and drying up now in the power of the living Lord Jesus Christ! They’re going nowhere. Your gathering, your intentions, your words will not prosper. God will see to it that all the evil you intended dies now. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave those people right now.”

When Jane and I prayed a similar prayer to what I put above, we knew that the Lord and warring angels went to arrest and stop the evil that was spoken at the witches gathering in Brooklyn. Many of the witches spirits were cast out to the feet of Jesus to be tormented before their time.

For those of you who speak in tongues, remember that God says it’s perfect prayer (Romans 8), so do it often.

This is serious stuff but know that we have a seriously MIGHTY GOD! And we have MIGHTY VICTORY.

Love, Carolyn

HOW TO MAKE EVIL GATHERINGS INEFFECTIVE

HOW TO MAKE EVIL GATHERINGS INEFFECTIVE
In Las Vegas we’ve noticed that when certain events come to town, they can have a bad influence on the spiritual atmosphere and it starts to affect us. When lots of people come together to participate in something contrary to God’s Word, their demons get stirred up and they like to extend their influence into the community at large. I know you’ve seen this kind of thing in your own cities, and communities. But the Lord has given us revelation on how to make these gatherings ineffective.

Sometimes we don’t recognize the influence of gatherings such as witches covens and Satan worshipers on full moon nights, or gatherings of terrorist pods, or the aftermath the morning after a huge hedonist party in town. We tend to take things too personally. And often when we feel bad, it’s not even us; it’s demons in the atmosphere pushing at us.

Some weekends here, we can feel the agitation in the air and it makes people drive especially dangerously. Sometimes the atmosphere just feels exceptionally heavy and oppressive. I’ve had mornings I didn’t feel like doing my hair, didn’t feel like writing and my brain was foggy. It just wasn’t like me. At first I thought it was me, but the Lord showed me what to look for and I’ve learned that most of the time I’m just reacting to the group of demons come to town.

God gave me revelation on this by reminding me of Nimrod. In Genesis 10:9 we learn that King Nimrod was “the mighty hunter before the Lord.” When it says “before the Lord,” it means he was in His face, against the true God. Nimrod got the people together and “they said, ‘Let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make a name [for ourselves]’” (Gen. 11:4).

“And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. And the Lord said, ‘Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech’” (Gen. 11:5-7). When the people were together, they were united in the words they spoke. It’s like when you agree with someone and you say, “You’re speaking my language.”

The awesome thing here is that when the Lord God confounded their literal language, they couldn’t communicate with each other. When people can’t communicate, especially when it comes to getting a project done, they can’t agree and that brings envy and strife. James 3:6 says, “Where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

So the Lord showed me that we could pray for this to happen with whatever demons had come to town. I prayed that God’s strong angels would surround them and that the agitation, the envy, the strife and the confusion would happen within the confines of the convention or event and that it would not penetrate the angelic walls put up by the Lord to surround them and keep them in one place. It’s like putting those devil spirits in detention, so they couldn’t get to us anymore.

Within minutes of praying this, my mind was totally clear and I had plenty of energy to get going on my day. The difference is astonishing and it works every time. It will work for you too.

Another Biblical example of this is found in Second Chronicles 20. It’s the story of Jehoshaphat and his people. Three different nations came together for a type of convention or event in the wilderness of Tekoa: It was called war! They all got together to take what Jehoshaphat had. But Jehoshaphat and his people prayed and “when they began to sing and to praise [for the victory they anticipated], the Lord set ambushments.”
“For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them; and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another” (2 Chron. 20:22-23).

When Jehoshaphat and the people came to see what was going on, “behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped” (v. 24).

That’s the thing about some demons, they are so stupid, they start to fight each other and kill their host!
So if you sometimes feel the pressure or heaviness of the spiritual atmosphere, or you sense a strong agitation, don’t automatically think it’s something wrong with you. Ask the Lord what’s going on. It could very well be that there is some kind of gathering near you that you can spiritually confine and keep at bay.

Though we would love to deliver everyone from the demons that manipulate them, it’s not always possible. But it is possible to detain the demons, confine them to a certain areas and prevent them from affecting us. Through Jesus Christ we have that authority and ability.

Love, Carolyn

BE ENCOURAGED

BE ENCOURAGED
Yesterday I was feeling the pressure of the witches and Satan worshippers, who were revving up for their full moon gatherings tonight to curse Christians. It felt like a huge dark cloud was pushing down on me, making me tired and discouraged. But this morning, the Lord told me right away, “Be encouraged.” I knew the best way was to preach myself happy. I started quoting some scriptures. The burden left as the truth of God’s Word entered in. The more I spoke those scriptures to myself, the happier I got. Then even more scriptures came to mind. They cleared away the darkness entirely.

I started out with Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” Then, “For it is God who worketh in me both to will and do of His good pleasure.” Then, “The joy of the Lord is my strength,” “I am strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man,” “If God be for me, who can be against me?” “I am more than a conqueror through him that loved us,” and “I have victory through my Lord Jesus Christ.”

Then I spoke with tongues because the Word of God says it builds up our spirits on the inside, and it’s perfect prayer.

I closed with “This is the day the Lord hath made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Spiritually I saw and felt the lightning of the Lord crash through the dark cloud and explode it. Like in Psalm 18:14: “Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.” The definition of the Hebrew word for “discomfited” is “to move noisily, confuse, break, consume, crush, destroy, trouble and vex.”

I was reminded of when the four lepers outside Samaria decided to boldly walk toward the Syrian enemy camp that had surrounded the city and was starving it out.  Then “the Lord had the host of the Syrians hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host, wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, and fled for their life.” The enemy’s plans were destroyed and Samaria prospered once again. (See 2 Kings 7:3-7).

I also quickly reflected on the three enemy tribes who came together to destroy Jehoshaphat and his people. When the people “began to sing and to praise, the Lord sent ambushments.” And the three tribes could not be united together against the believers. They began to fight against each other instead. (See 2 Chron. 20: 15-25).

Then at the tower of Babel, the people were united against God and His plan. But God intervened and confused their languages so that they could not communicate with each other; they couldn’t even understand what each other was saying. (See Gen. 11: 1-9).

When I built myself up with the scriptures, I was no longer under the dark cloud of discouragement. The lightning of God came and broke the gloom intended for me and others of His people.

Then when I reminded myself of what God did for His people when they were threatened, I knew that we would be free and protected from any curse the Satan worshippers would try to put on us. Why? Because the Lord will allow strife, confusion, noise, trouble and destruction to come on any attempt they might have to unite against God’s beloved.

The full moon is made for God’s people, not the devil! We’re taking it back!

Take a moment to pray against the witches, warlocks, and Satan worshipers who are speaking curses against our Lord, our president and our people today.

Love, Carolyn

CONTEST OF THE GODS -- DO YOUR CHILDREN KNOW WHO WINS?

I went in to see a movie yesterday, sat up front and was blasted by six previews of upcoming movies for the summer—every single one of them was about witchcraft or magic. Most of us don’t know much about the reality of black witchcraft or we’ve been taught that it’s only make believe. It’s not. It’s very much alive and real.

My best friend Jane, and her boss were cursed at a coven gathering in the desert outside of Las Vegas. A member of the coven stole both of their nameplates from their doors at work. The nameplates were burned in an evening bonfire as the witches and other people who were invited (possible converts) drank alcoholic beverages and toasted to the two women’s demise. You may be wondering how I know this.

One of the attendees had taken photos and put them up privately on the internet but Jane saw them and showed them to me. After the cursing, both women’s jobs were terminated. This stuff is very real.

The God of the Bible, the creator of all things, does phenomenal miracles of healing, helping, deliverance and victory; but the devil has copied these things for as many centuries as mankind has existed. His ways are undeniably enticing.

I don’t hate witches or sorcerers. I guess I just hate that they are getting more air time than the true God.

Before Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, there was a contest of gods:

“Now the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,When Pharaoh says to you, “Work a miracle [to prove your authority],” then you say to Aaron, “Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, so that it may become a serpent.’”

“Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh called for the wise men [skilled in magic and omens] and the sorcerers [skilled in witchcraft], and they also, these magicians (soothsayer-priests) of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts and enchantments. For every man threw down his staff and they turned into serpents” (Exod. 7: 8-12a).

Notice how the Bible calls these phenomenal acts, done by sorcerers and magicians, “secret arts and enchantments.” In the West, they are pretty much still secret, except for what we see in cartoons, TV and children’s movies. But we still don’t think they are real. However, in other cultures around the world, these kinds of acts have been witnessed for centuries and are well-known facts of life.

If we read to the end of verse 12, the Bible says: “BUT AARON’S SNAKE SWALLOWED THEIRS.

God’s people had more power and greater results than the sorcerers, witches and magicians. This is important for us, as adults, to know but even more important for our children and young adults to know. The other side is avidly promoting and making their side look so innocent, fun, adventurous and thrilling. It’s not just entertainment anymore, it’s an invitation.

Another great example of the spectacular challenge between the believers in the true God and those who practice witchcraft, is found in 1 Kings 18. King Ahab was very bothered by the fact that Elijah had prayed and there was no rain in the land.

“And when he saw him, Ahab shouted, ‘There you are, the biggest troublemaker in Israel!’
Elijah answered, ‘You’re the troublemaker—not me! You and your family have disobeyed the Lord’s commands by worshiping Baal. Call together everyone from Israel and have them meet me on Mount Carmel. Be sure to bring along the four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table.

Ahab got everyone together, then they went to meet Elijah on Mount Carmel. Elijah stood in front of them and said, ‘How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the Lord is God, worship him! But if Baal is God, worship him!’

“The people did not say a word. Then Elijah continued, ‘I am the Lord’s only prophet, but Baal has four hundred fifty prophets. Bring us two bulls. Baal’s prophets can take one of them, kill it, and cut it into pieces. Then they can put the meat on the wood without lighting the fire. I will do the same thing with the other bull, and I won’t light a fire under it either.

The prophets of Baal will pray to their god, and I will pray to the Lord. The one who answers by starting the fire is God. ‘That’s a good idea,’ everyone agreed.

Elijah said to Baal’s prophets, ‘There are more of you, so you go first. Pick out a bull and get it ready, but don’t light the fire. Then pray to your god.’ They chose their bull, then they got it ready and prayed to Baal all morning, asking him to start the fire. They danced around the altar and shouted, ‘Answer us, Baal!’ But there was no answer.

“At noon, Elijah began making fun of them. ‘Pray louder!’ he said. ‘Baal must be a god. Maybe he’s day-dreaming or using the toilet or traveling somewhere. Or maybe he’s asleep, and you have to wake him up.’

The prophets kept shouting louder and louder, and they cut themselves with swords and knives until they were bleeding. This was the way they worshiped, and they kept it up all afternoon. But there was no answer of any kind.

Elijah told everyone to gather around him while he repaired the Lord’s altar. Elijah dug a ditch around the altar, large enough to hold about thirteen quarts.  He placed the wood on the altar, then they cut the bull into pieces and laid the meat on the wood.

“He told the people, ‘Fill four large jars with water and pour it over the meat and the wood.’ After they did this, he told them to do it two more times. They did exactly as he said until finally, the water ran down the altar and filled the ditch.

Elijah prayed: Our Lord, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Now, prove that you are the God of this nation, and that I, your servant, have done this at your command. Please answer me, so these people will know that you are the Lord God, and that you will turn their hearts back to you. *

“The Lord immediately sent fire, and it burned up the sacrifice, the wood, and the stones. It scorched the ground everywhere around the altar and dried up every drop of water in the ditch.

“When the crowd saw what had happened, they all bowed down and shouted, “The Lord is God! The Lord is God!” (1 Kings 18: 17-39).

Please make sure your children know at least as much about the Christian God and His son Jesus Christ, as they know about magic, witches, warlocks, sorcerers and the like. Both sides have real power and supernatural abilities as we’ve seen in the media, but also in the Bible. Both require a sacrifice of soul, one to enhance with the truth and true love, one that enhances with power only, but leads to control and destruction.

Many in the adult generations have been able to ride the fence, not really choosing a side. Your children and young adults will probably not have that privilege, so please teach them the Bible so they at least have a fair chance to choose.

Love, Carolyn
* What an awesome prayer for those of us who are ministers! I think we can really benefit from Elijah’s example of how to pray in challenging times. I’m going to mark it and add it to the scriptures I pray every morning.
